Responsibilities:

• Technical planning of drilling projects from concept to execution.
• Supporting procurement processes and approval procedures as a technical expert.
• On-site construction supervision during drilling operations.
• Providing technical support for production operations, including well interventions, workovers, and integrity measurements.
• Contributing to the optimization and development of work processes.
• Collaborating on research and development (R&D) projects.

Requirements:

• A Master’s or Diploma degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geotechnics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferably a specialization in drilling engineering or deep drilling technology.
• Proficiency in German and English.
• Strong teamwork, creativity, and flexibility skills.

Responsibilities:

• Induced Seismicity Expert:Conduct monitoring, localization, microzonation, drilling integrity monitoring, GRID analysis, and develop concepts for probability models, warning systems, and response plans.
• Stakeholder Management:Serve as a point of contact for operations, participate in regulatory meetings, collaborate with other geothermal operators, and support public relations efforts.
• Geophysical Data Integration:Process and analyze geophysical data (seismic, VSP, and wellbore data) for geothermal exploration and production.
• Utilize machine learning tools or fiber optic data processing as an advantage.
• Project Management:Lead or co-lead R&D projects related to induced seismicity and oversee external service providers.

Requirements:

• A degree in Geophysics, Geosciences, Geothermal Energy, or a related field.
• Experience in analyzing geophysical and seismological data.
• Knowledge of geophysical data processing (advantageous).
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.

Your Role in Emlichheim:

• Ensure safe and efficient oil and gas production.
• Develop and oversee workover and completion programs.
• Plan and implement production optimization projects.
• Monitor and analyze production data for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate subsurface projects, including budgeting and execution.
• Ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations (e.g., BBergG, BVOT, etc.).
