The internship is suitable for students in fields such as:

• Geoenergy / Petroleum Engineering
• Well Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Process Engineering

Depending on the assigned department, interns may support ongoing technical projects in areas such as Geoscience, Reservoir Engineering and Well Engineering. Typical tasks include technical analysis, collection and evaluation of technical data, preparation of reports and presentations, and general project support.

Applicants should have an analytical mindset, good Microsoft Office skills, a proactive and team-oriented approach, and fluent English. German is an advantage.

Duration: 6 months

Compensation: €1,100 to €1,400 per month, depending on level of education

Stadtwerke München (SWM) is looking for an experienced Drilling / Production Engineer to support its deep geothermal activities in Munich and the surrounding region.

The position includes drilling planning and design from concept to operational execution, technical responsibility during drilling operations, support for workover activities and well integrity assessments, as well as participation in R&D projects related to drilling and subsurface operations. 

Applicants should have a relevant background in drilling engineering, practical experience in deep drilling and workover operations, experience with drilling planning and simulation software, and very good German language skills.
